Seamlessly edited
Collaboration is crucial.
I spend time working with directors, channeling their creative vision and following narrative beats. I do always look for interesting ways to approach sequencing, working together to achieve a result that is visually pleasant and structurally coherent.

Finding unique ways for the edit to shine.
Often as an editor, my task is ensure my work is invisible to the casual viewer. Sometimes a director may want to be more stylistic and look for an energetic or smooth transition between scenes. It’s always exciting to find that spark in the editing process to showcase creative flair through technical skill.

Preparation is paramount.
I’ve not always been present on set for each project I’m brought on to edit. When the opportunity does present itself however, it is a key way to implement strategies and inform my fellow creatives of what can aid and stifle the post production process.

Bold creativity.
Creativity requires innovative thinking. I always strive to collaborate with the director or client’s vision for their project. I work with them to seek how I can best use the technical editing skills I have to amplify the narrative goal. Flexibility is important, but bold choices that stand out in the viewer’s mind is often where considerable time and effort has been invested.

About me
With over half my life spent immersed in visual storytelling and video editing, I’m passionate about capturing moments and transforming them into creative pieces. After studying film and television production, I've honed my skills through internships with the Sydney Sixers and the Powerhouse Museum, and working on various projects, from music videos to corporate productions. I also manage the production team and produce weekly video content at ImagineNations Church in Sydney. My experience spans editing, filming, and solving technical challenges as an audiovisual technician.
I specialize in creating high-quality videos, focusing on precision in every frame. While I can film material when needed, my true strength lies in the editing process, where I bring everything together to achieve the desired outcome. My work, including the music video edit “Say It To My Face” by Gloomie, aired on Australian television, and my recent edit of “Eden” by Garage Noise was recognized at the ARFF Paris Around International Film Festival. I’m always eager to collaborate and bring fresh creative visions to life.
Promoting what’s coming up.
In my capacity as Video Editor and Production Team Leader at ImagineNations Church Sydney since May 2024, I’m responsible for developing videos that advertise upcoming events to the congregation. In collaboration with the Creative Team, I deliver to briefs on deadline to creatively engage our audience. We ensure that each weekend’s service contains up to date promotional or recap videos of what’s coming up in the next month or beyond at any one time.

Missions visualised.
In addition to event promotion, part of my role include editing a monthly video displaying to the congregation the impact of their giving to various missions projects in other countries. I utilise piece to camera videos sent to myself, various stock footage to convey a place and emotion, and synthesise it all together in the editing suite.
